Buenos Aires, January 20 (NA) -- Within the framework of the investigation into the smuggling of high-end cars conducted by Customs and the City Police, a new vehicle linked to the case was found today: a black and red Dodge Challenger with Paraguayan license plates. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the vehicle was located inside a parking lot at Bernardo de Irigoyen 600 and was made available to the Federal Court of First Instance in Puerto IguazĂș, Misiones, headed by Marcelo Alejandro Cardozo, with the intervention of Carla SalomĂ© Lentini's Secretariat. The measure is part of a case that already has two detainees and several cars of the same style seized. In this regard, a scheme for the irregular entry of high-end vehicles from Paraguay is being investigated, which remained in the country without paying the corresponding import rights, constituting the crime of smuggling.
